Mid-Level Litigation Associate
Kang Haggerty is seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey with 2-7 years of applicable commercial litigation experience. Extra consideration for candidates with Delaware or New York licenses. Successful applicants must be driven and eager to deliver successful results for clients and supervising attorneys. Strong communication skills, particularly in high-stress situations, are essential. Successful applicants must be prepared to participate in an active caseload, which includes robust motion practice, voluminous discovery and production and review of electronically stored information and documents, and assisting in the handling of depositions and trials.

Kang Haggerty offers a lucrative bonus structure based on individual contributions and performance (such as collections and client origination), as well as a discretionary bonus. Associates play a vital part in achieving our mission, as they are responsible for the following:
- Conducting reliable and accurate research
- Preparing strong written advocacy with minimal errors
- Drafting discovery motions, other motions, and breifs
- Preparing written discovery requests and responses to written discovery requests
- Developing case strategy
- Preparing pleadings
- Handling all components of electronic discovery (production of documents and review of documents received)
- Assisting in deposition preparation
- Trying cases as second chair
Kang Haggerty provides every attorney with professional development planning and support, including participation in monthly roundtables, one-on-one support from the firm’s attorney overseeing business development, and budgeting for bar association and related organizational involvement.
