Kelly A. Lavelle concentrates her practice in Business and Commercial Litigation and Class Action. She focuses on eDiscovery and information management. Kelly’s practice encompasses all phases of electronic discovery, from preservation and collection to review and production of large volumes of electronically stored information. Kelly earned her J.D. from Villanova University School of Law after graduating with a B.S. from the University of Scranton. Prior to joining Kang Haggerty, Kelly worked for a national transportation practice where she gained significant experience in commercial and contract litigation and eData management. Ross M. Wolfe represents clients in a wide range of complex commercial and consumer disputes, including consumer and insurance fraud, whistleblower actions, healthcare disputes, securities, class actions, and general business litigation. Ross has extensive experience litigating complex matters in federal district and appellate courts across the country. He earned his J.D. from the George Washington School of Law, after earning his B.S. from Catholic University. He is admitted to the practice of law in Pennsylvania, Washington, DC, and New Jersey.

Susan Moon O

Susan has extensive experience litigating complex civil and commercial matters, representing individual and institutional clients from pre-litigation stage to judgment execution.  She has handled a variety of matters involving business torts, contract disputes, restrictive covenants and confidentiality agreements, employment discrimination, professional malpractice, and personal injury.  Susan has also represented clients in commercial loan workouts. She joins the firm after 11 years of practice at Fellheimer & Eichen LLP.

Kyle Garabedian

Kyle represents clients in a wide range of complex and general civil litigation, including contract claims, business torts, professional malpractice and other commercial disputes. His practice includes prosecuting and defending claims for clients both large and small. He joins the firm after five years of practice at Fellheimer & Eichen LLP.

Melissa Lagoumis

Melissa Lagoumis, a former Kang Haggerty Legal Assistant and currently a third year law student at Washington & Lee University School of Law, recently published an article in the American Bar Association’s Law Practice Today detailing her experiences as an extern in the Delaware Court of Chancery under Vice Chancellor Joseph R. Slights, III.

Since the firm’s inception in 2013, Kang Haggerty is proud to serve as a training ground and attorney pipeline to more than six staff members that are either in law school or preparing to attend a law school or PhD program.

Maliheh comes to Kang Haggerty with a wealth of extensive legal research experience, recently completing her post-graduate studies at the New York University School of Law, where she received a merit-based, full-tuition scholarship for her LL.M. and the Lederman Fellowship in Law and Economics in obtaining her Doctor of Juridical Science (J.S.D.), a degree awarded to highly qualified individuals who have successfully completed a prescribed course of advanced study in law after having earned J.D. and LL.M. degrees. In addition, Maliheh worked as a research assistant and a teaching assistant at both the Law School and the Stern School of Business. She was also a visiting researcher at Harvard Law School.Before moving to the United States, Maliheh earned an LL.M. (with a focus on intellectual property) and a Ph.D. (focusing on corporate law) at the University of Tehran, and an LL.B. (the J.D. equivalent) at the Imam Sadiq University in Tehran, Iran. She also practiced as a litigator in Iran. At Kang Haggerty, her practice will focus primarily on complex commercial litigation. She is admitted to the practice of law in New York.

Michael joins the firm following completion of judicial law clerkships with the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the Court of Common Pleas of Delaware County. He earned his J.D. (graduating cum laude) from the Widener University Delaware Law School in 2017, where he participated on the Law Review, Moot Court and Transactional Law Society Boards. Michael is a graduate of Moravian College, where he earned his B.A. in Political Science. He was a team captain in his senior season while playing forward for the Men’s Basketball team.

Jason Guss concentrates his practice on a wide range of business transactional matters including entity formation, drafting internal documents, drafting business agreements, real estate transactions and tax issues.  He earned his J.D. from the Rutgers University School of Law – Camden in 2014 after graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree from Pennsylvania State University. Jason gained valuable experience working as a judicial extern at the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) and as a legal intern at Rutgers’ Civil Practice Clinic.  Prior to joining Kang Haggerty, Jason worked for a national public accounting firm where he focused on tax consulting, tax compliance, and due diligence for mergers and acquisitions. David Scott focuses on business litigation matters that include partnership disputes, contact disputes, civil RICO, and breach of fiduciary duty.  He also devotes significant aspects of his practice to securities litigation, class action cases, and creditor’s rights.  He earned his J.D. from the Wake Forest University School of Law, where he was a member of the Wake Forest Journal of Law and Policy. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Pennsylvania State University. While in law school, David gained experience in the Delaware County District Attorney’s Office and as a law clerk for Senior Judge Michael F. X.
