Maliheh came to KHF with a wealth of extensive legal research experience, after completing her post-graduate studies at the New York University School of Law, where she received a merit-based, full-tuition scholarship for her LL.M. and the Lederman Fellowship in Law and Economics in obtaining her Doctor of Juridical Science (J.S.D.), a degree awarded to highly qualified individuals who have successfully completed a prescribed course of advanced study in law after having earned J.D. and LL.M. degrees.
In addition, Maliheh worked as a research assistant and a teaching assistant at both the Law School and the Stern School of Business. She was also a visiting researcher at Harvard Law School. Before moving to the United States, Maliheh earned an LL.M. (with a focus on intellectual property) and a Ph.D. (focusing on corporate law) at the University of Tehran, and an LL.B. (the J.D. equivalent) at the Imam Sadiq University in Tehran, Iran. She also practiced as a litigator in Iran.
At KHF, her practice will focus primarily on complex commercial litigation.
