David P. DeanAssociate
David Dean is an associate of the firm, and concentrates his practice on commercial litigation matters, including contract disputes, business torts, and shareholder and partnership disputes. David also devotes a significant portion of his practice to qui tam and class action litigation.
Dave graduated in 2006 from the New York University School of Law, magna cum laude. While at the New York University School of Law, David was on the New York University Law Review as the Notes Editor. He gained significant internship experience in New York, where he interned with the Federal Defenders of New York and the New York Office of the Appellate Defender. He also interned and gained clinical experience at the Louisiana Capital Assistance Center and the Kentucky Department of Public Advocacy’s Capital Post-Conviction Unit.
David first started his career at the Miami-Dade County Public Defender’s Office, where he conducted many jury and bench trials. And, before joining KHF, he was a commercial litigator at both Philadelphia and New York-based litigation firms. He participated in many cases involving qui tam litigation, securities fraud, class actions, and various other matters. With significant years of experience as a litigator in both the public and private sector, David understands the complexities of litigation at every stage.
